Story: Ms. Pauling was a close friend and fellow student of Medic's, back when they were students of Master Pakku growing up in the Northern water tribe. Pauling always had a crush for Medic, but she didn't know he'd rather stay friends because of their age gap. Years later, shortly after Medic left to work for Mann Co. as a mercenary, he learned that Pauling got in trouble for defending a dissenter of the rules against women in their tribes, so he went back (despite the risk for becoming the first Northern male healer) and rescued Pauling and the dissenter, bringing them to the mainlands.

Huh, any particular reason these two for the scene? Would've though Scout would fit Sokka more... (but hey! It's more Medic, so I'm not complaining)

Well I did at first but Scout makes more sense as a air bender. His speed and such.

I was going to make a comic of this but it would be TOO long so I just drew some scenes I wanted to draw :]
